Weddings at Sky Hawk Ridge

Arkansas Outdoor Wedding Venue with Breathtaking Views

Sky Hawk Ridge is place of extraordinary beauty, a 185-acre natural refuge at the gateway to Buffalo River National Park. On Sky Hawk's long ridge, you see layered green hillsides and distant blue ridge lines across the Buffalo River Valley, rolling meadows with sentinel oaks, cattle grazing in lush pastures, deep green woods ... nature's beauty at every turn. Be dazzled by spring flowers, blue summer skies, rich fall colors, or foggy winter mornings. Sky Hawk Ridge is a nature-lover's paradise all year long.

Three vacation homes are located on the property and spaced 500-1,200 feet apart, allowing plenty of separation for everyone's privacy.

Sky Hawk is just off US 65 on the north side of the Buffalo River. Restaurants, canoe rentals and river access points at Grinders Ferry, Gilbert and Tyler Bend are less than ten minutes away, but at Sky Hawk you’re secluded and surrounded by natural beauty -- away from it all. Cities and towns within two hours include Branson, Springfield, Little Rock, Harrison, and Fayetteville/Rogers.

Make a wedding uniquely yours with the backdrop of your dreams — perfect for larger celebrations, intimate ceremonies, micro-weddings, or elopements.

FAQs

  • Sky Hawk is perfect for couples who love nature and the outdoors, want to create a multi-day celebration with family and friends, and want a “blank canvas” to curate a wedding that is uniquely theirs. We would not be a good fit for couples looking for an all-inclusive wedding package.

  • No, there is no “on-site coordinator,” but couples will have an open line of communication with the property owners (Lori and Frank) to answer questions and offer recommendations about logistics, services in the area, the property, and the homes. Property Managers (Ron and Donna) are available to address the needs of guests staying at Sky Hawk. There will not be someone to assist in event planning, but our team can support you in the planning process and set-up for the rehearsal dinner/ceremony/reception.

Sky Hawk Managers will be on site during events to help address problems that may arise and can offer limited support to the couple and vendors.

It is highly recommended that you hire a day-of-wedding coordinator to ensure that your wedding day runs smoothly. You will be responsible for set-up and tear down of the event.

  • No, you will need to coordinate with a rental company for tables, chairs, tents, etc.

  • No, there is no covered outdoor space. If this is something you would like to have, you will need to rent a tent large enough to accommodate your guest count.

  • Yes, there is wi-fi access in all of the homes located on the property.

  • No, you will need to provide your own food/catering and bar/beverage service.

  • No, Sky Hawk does not require you to use preferred vendors at this time, but we can offer recommendations for local vendors and caterers.

  • The homes on the property are not handicap accessible, however, one house does not have steps (ranch house) and another home only has one small step in the entrance, so it would be accessible for a person with a walker but limited for individuals restricted to a wheelchair.

Any outdoor space will be accessible by all, but be mindful of dirt, gravel, and grassy terrain.

  • Yes! What’s more special than including your furry family members on your big day?
